Asked before a first session

Does physiotherapy work over video?
For most musculoskeletal problems, much of the work is assessment, explanation and a well-built exercise plan, and that travels fine over video. Some things need hands on assessment or imaging, and your physio will say so.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. In Ireland you can see a physiotherapist privately without one.
What do I need for the session?
A phone or laptop, space to move, and something to prop the camera against. We send setup instructions beforehand.
Can I claim it back?
Possibly, depending on your policy and circumstances. We send an itemised receipt with your physio's name and registration number. Check with your insurer and with Revenue.
What if I need to cancel?
Free up to 24 hours before. Inside that the session is charged, because the slot was held for you.
Is this for children?
Not at the moment. Everyone booking here is 18 or over.
